All kidding aside !

I look forward to hearing the originals you have in the oven.
Nice instruments and vocals!
Great mix.

Hey, talk about scary. That weather in Wisconsin is scary from what I hear from the transplants down here in S.W. Florida. :D
Appreciate the kind words, JC. Those Gibbs have a real distinctive falsetto-vibrato thang going on there. I am real excited about getting some original stuff out there. It has been a fun ride thus far. But when I start doing my own stuff, it is going to get personal. And I like that idea! Just got to get this first gig of cover tunes coming up shortly under my belt, and I will then start writing .....and sever/cut/destroy the line between what I left 25 years ago (ole pee-ano player in the corner afraid to sing in a top 40 disco band), to a dude (without a natural voice) who worked at that voice, and will perform solo lead vocals and play to his own arrangements. Hated being the "token" keyboardist. Damn gee-tar players!! Just kidding, you know. Well, at least trying to emulate guitarz keeps me busy, and they don't sound that bad, either. Well, JC, I am rambling on. Again, thanks for the compliments.

Geeze I can yap my friggin' head off, eh???

The transplants aren't lying !

You have the right idea for your tunes. Just drop the covers for a while and let it fly. Songwriting is kinda like learning an instrument, you can get better at it the more you do it. If you like arranging and playing lots of instruments, you will love what technology can do for you.

And you are in the greatest place to listen and learn
Nothing like being surrounded by people who are trying to do the same thing as you, and are willing to share their experience

Tell me about it, JC. This place kicks ass and has been an invaluable tool for me in all aspects of me attempting to do what was in my head and heart, and translate it into what I imagined it should sound like. Great folks in here. I can't say enough about how many individuals took there valuable time and helped when I was clueless. My one hope is that I can reciprocate, but I still know shit compared to some of the folks in here. I have a lot to learn. We all do to some extent. That is the beauty of this internet medium and the good folks here at Homerecording.com! CHEERS!
