Hi.

I'm a new member and the reason i registered is that i need to know the name of this new voice effect, which is a sort of a pitch shift-phaser ??combination, and has been used a lot lately in many recordings

Not really sure what you're talking about. Can you think of any specific examples we could check out?

Your probably talking about one that is included in Waves.

I don't have any built in voice effects in my waves bundle... that I know of?

Which one do you have? I have the Mercury Bundle. It's not really intended only for 'voices' though, pitch change etc, can be used on anything lol. I have a WHOLE bunch of plug-ins.

I have the Waves Platinum Bundle. I have pitch shifters and all that, but I don't have any preset voice effects, like vocoders or anything... I have to create those things if I ever want to use them... it's a pain. I wish there was a built in voice effects plugin with a bunch of presets to mess with. Would make things easier.

yeah they include that in Mercury. I got Mercury almost free, second hand down from the studio. It was basically free, except that I have to pay that stupid fee annually. But shit, I'm not complaining .

and its all part of the Mercury Bundle...which basically have all the Bundles in one..

Just saw this...Hey Change, I think I have a plugin made by AKAI that does what Autotune does. It gives you some synthesized voices too. Of course you'd still have to do a little tweaking but it might work out. If you're interested in it, I'll see if I can find it.

Fiev.

I doubt it lol. Doesn't look like he even posted a second time any where....

Yeah, I'd be interested in it. How much is it? How well does it work? Any digital artifacts on vocals etc...?
