UniValve users...

Attention all UniValve freaks! I'm getting one, and am interested in your opinion(s) about the nicest valves to use for various tones. I play funk, blues/blues-rock, alt-country, and anything southern-fried. And like many folks, I love the occasional bone-crushing power-chord. I'll probably shop NOS, so if you have any favorite old tubes, that helps, too. Any suggestions?

Ask THD. I'm sure they know a ton about it. Also, I think it includes a guide as to what tubes sound like what... or if it doesn't, it should. Also, take a listen to the samples at their site... They all list the tubes used, so that should give you a pretty good idea.
