Unique Vocal Effect

I found a great acoustic tune called December Rain by Chris Bryan, and there's a this reverb"ish" effect on the vocals, well the guitar too for that matter, that I really like. It kinda reminds me of the beginning vocals of an old CandleBox tune, I can't remember which one it is ....Far Behind maybe?

Just wondering if anybody had either tune (especially the Chris Bryan one) and knew how this effect is accomplished?? Thanks......BJ

Well I don't know that track, but I do know the Candlebox one!
(by the way thanx for mention it, I was gonna check the vox-fx you mentioned and asked my self why I haven't played this cd for a long time.. great disc!)
but uhm, the vox sound like a combi of reverb and delay
maybe a reverb with lang pre-delay, but sound more like a delay with more feedback than a typical reverb.

a hall reverb, maybe about 2 secs delay (thaz long for vox) and a delay with 20% feedback or so... something like that would do the trick I quess.
