i have under recorded music .....

have to play it real loud level..

is there a way to recorded it to a hihger level ?

how do i correct a cd disk that has been under recorded ??

try normalising but beware that raising the volume of the material is also gonna raise the noise floor. Gain structure is everything. You should be checking your levels at every stage, tracking, mixing and the final print of your 2 track mix.

You can always hard limit the life out of it and just forget that dynamics actualy make of break a good song

Remember: the more background noise on your recording, the more noise you will get after you normalize the sound. So try to keep the initial recordings as low noise as possible.

You probably want to get a preamp to raise the level of the sound your recording before it gets recorded. It won't help on the cd you've already created, but it will help in the future.
