Under my skin

I've got zero problems with the drum work here. It's the center piece of the whole first 60 seconds. It's a nice, solid anchor to the floaty vox and trem guitar. Good counterpoint!

I think bass could still be a bit more present. It aint gonna crowd that kick anytime soon, that's fer damned sure.:laughings:

Sweet, sweet guit work and guit tones throughout. Im jealous as all hell.

Great mix, man. Pull up the bass track a bit and I think it's done. :cool:

I kinda like it too the way it is now but that bass does need more presence. I'll let it lie for a coupla days now and listen to it later again with fresh ears.

Yeah, fresh ears will likely make all the difference with this one. I can see how this tune can wear em out...lots of moving parts in this one!:)
 
Great guitar man...I always love your playing.....I dig the verse vocal sound a lot, drums do seem a little distracting however during the quieter verse parts.....I think they work well for the heavier parts....very cool lyrics, this rocked ,love the guitar solo at the end... nice job ...big thumbs up to to all involved!!!

Worked on the drum pattern, EQ'd the guitars differently, changed the effect on the vox in the verse. Hope you can tell me if it's an improvement.

Good work on the new mix joey. :) I prefer this version, although the drums are still busier than I would choose at times, I think this works better and I have absolutely zero experience composing anything remotely like this.

I also like the vocal effect better now. Guitars sound good.

I'll just have to fix the bass a little and then I think I'll be pretty happy with it.
And don't worry, your talent shines thru on your stuff....;)
