SLuiCe, I LOVE your vocals on this one. Absolutely terrific! They sound so....different! :D

Great guitar solo, Mike!

:p

ok, so you guys rock. what's new? he he he he

great recording. very advanced. I'm with fender, I quit.

Very creative tune....to say the least! Sweet mix, Blisterin guitar, the whole nine yards! Damn, that IS nice guitar work. Didn't hear any negatives in the mix either. Overall great job.

I loved this one. Great job. The attack on the bass was about the best I've heard anywhere. Great vocals - great harmonies. Even the "ohh's" sounded cool. Lots of stuff going on everywhere. I liked the trick ending.

Great guitar sounds everywhere.

The section from 2:45 - 2:58 seems to have a little distortion in small spots on the right side. Agree? I'm not sure if it's intentional or not.

Excellent.

Great job! This is a very unique song I must say. Great work on the guit!

Wow! Everything is so full and powerful. That is so amazing to me. The guitars sounded really cool...all the differnt sounds. The bass sound was really good! Can't forget the vocals, again great!

I am listening at work on headphones so take this for what its worth - the only thing I heard on the mix that bothered me was that keyboard/guitar sound starting at 1:20. The wide panning was cool, but it seemed a little loud distracting me from the vocals.

Take what I say with a grain salt, however, as I could probably never get this full of a sound.

Very well done.

Wfaraoni- Thanks for listening Bill

Jeff-...maybe there is some cohesivness to my stuff:D Thanks for the listen bro. ...and mucho thanks for the webpage help!

Toki-Yeah, its a busy one..... I was doing some serious piling on:D There's actually a couple of parts that i should consider just leaving out for clarity...... I'll mess w/ that when I get over being burned out on this song. This is my first tune w/ keyboard bass. ...not as much fun to do, but sickeningly easy to get a good tone.:)

Crawdad-Thanks for the listen dad!!

Powder-Thanks man..... i cant get Sams guitar "meat" though. ....was fun trying though.

Twist-Thanks for the listen man.

Steve-Thanks for tuning in bro. When are we gonna hear the next one from wondercow?:)

Flat9-Thanks for the listen and kind words man..... yeah, Tom's got some flava in there:D .

Ped-....yeah, my guitar chops are pretty tasty arent they :D :D ...Tom sings too loud though:D :D

Dtb-thanks for tuning in bro.

bdbd-thanks for listening in bd.

Trip-thanks man. This is actually keyboard bass in this one. Im gonna mess w/ incorporating it into real bass tracks in the future. .....to fill out where my b.guitar tone is lacking. I think that distortion you mentioned might be that clanky cymbal.... and thats partially intentional. I boosted the piss out of that to get it to "clank"..... Im not sure if thats what you mean:confused: :) .

Scott-Thanks for listening ScottB.

Skids- Thanks skids. That sound youre talking about is a Steel guit. patch on the keyboard. I know what you mean about it being a touch distracting..... I kinda liked it though... so it might be an intentional sacrifice.

:)

I'm not positive but I suspect that's it. I had a hard time trying to find a way to describe the sound.

Definitely do not sacrifice that sound!!! I like it a lot. My poor typing made my post confusing. I just thought it could come down a dB or two, but again I am listening on cheap headphones!

Great job.

This is way cool... lotsa things going on, which I like. Very nice solo there Sluice. Not much to say other than: Great song!

song is great but I just don't like this "thing" that starts at 1:20 and 3:30 - sounds like a cheap midi instrument..?? what's that?
bass timing problem btw 1:56 and 2:02

BTW the beginning and the vox sounds like an B.Sabbath cover -- is this a collab with Sam?

very complex and interesting tune!

cheers

Real nice job lads-good ole rock song--Love the bass tone G-I guess phat is the word--very nice guitar work as well-good tones good playing. Very good vocal track, well performed-you're a strong vocalist G-man!! Hmm what else..Like that guitar scratch stuff around the 1min mark----not too crazy about the key parts that happen a few times 1:30--they sound kinda wimpy to me-like a diff sound maybe more organ-y...which reminds me of a joke-aheem, something like--uhh Liberace was a great piano player, but I heard he sucked on the organ..cough cough....Err anyway hmm what else...the intro was interesting but was it necessary??sounds like a slight sync problem when the guitars start out...The guitar parts at around 1:55 before the solo really kicks in also sound kinda out of sync--maybe I'm just not getting the groove(actually take that back they work pretty well)----Hmm theres a good 4 seconds of silence between the song proper and the outtro--kinda unusual...Good mix-vocals right out front and easy to understand---maybe more kick and snare might propel the tune a bit more--anyway I gotta run-I'm at work and missing stuff---I enjoyed the tune alot. Latas.
