I've finally (thanks to an article by Chris Upfield) figured out how to get soundfonts working in Sonar - kind of. If I try to load ("attach") an old soundfont (I got them back when I first installed the card a few years ago) it loads fine, plays fine, life is good. If I try to load one of the new soundfonts that comes with Sonar I get "Undefined Soundfont Error". Thank you programmers, for that descriptive error message. If anyone has any clue what's going on here, please let me know. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the SB Live and the latest version of the soundfonts software (which was dated about 1999?!?) from their website. didn't help. I've got about 17 meg reserved to the soundfonts in teh manager and no soundfonts loaded in there, so it's all available to Sonar.
