Hey Tascam 300 series pals,
So I just picked up a 320b and I'm in the process of integrating it into my current system. My setup is almost completely balanced (balanced ADAT outs through balanced outboard gear through balanced cable runs into a bunch of balanced patchbays). I did some tests with balanced cables vs unbalanced and the folklore of 6 dB loss seems to be true for the outs but not for the line ins. How are you folks dealing with the mostly unbalanced nature of the 300 series? Do I need to modify all my cables now that my nerve center is unbalanced?
