I am still getting these messages - when I open a song I find it has cleared all my effects etc. from the console view and the song is back to its orginal naked form. However it occurs to me now that I have been low on disc space recently - once or twice I have run out while I have been working. Humor me - there could be a connection here couldn't there?

Well, no - it was nothing to do with space. I freed up 3 GB and it's still the same. It's drivingme up the wall. As I see it I now have 2 options. Throw the CPU out the window, or reinstall CWPA. Either way, can you tell me if should I back up with .bun files first - or can I just remove the program and reinstall with everything as it is?

Oh and one more thing - when you save files as .bun, does it save the nondestructive effects applied in the console view?

Thanks - Malg.

yes you can reinstall over the original without losing your tracks.
The .bun file system does save your effect settings. :)

cheers

Thanks John. mBut no luck I'm afraid. Tried reinstalling - nothing. cleaned, defragged, freed up space - nothing. One last plea then: does anybody have ANY idea what might be causing this ( or how to fix it)? It's ruining a once happy marriage.
