Whenever I fire up a GT3 project with the UAD plugs, I get a Powered Plugins Error..

'The plugin was unable to load...buffer size mismatch (err=30)'

Anyone seen this one before?

Everything seems to work OK, but I'm having sporadic trouble with delay compensation. Maybe this could have something to do with it?

I'll see if I can attach a screenshot

go to the UAD control panel and match the buffers to whats in your s/w or try switchin to ASIO

Thanks for the reply Teacher.

I am using asio at the moment. Iwent into the UAD configuration panel and added 2 Extra buffers into the 'New DMA settings', but the project won't play.

The UAD buffer size is 192 samples. I don't know what the asio buffer size is - just says latency 4ms ??

4ms would be about 2 or 3 buffers I'd think

Try using WDM and see if you have better results.

What is the latency of your soundcard? The latency on your UAD needs to be at the same level or higher than your soundcard. If, lets say your soundcard is at 5ms, and the UAD is at 4ms it won't work(this has happened to me). Add more buffers until the UAD latency is at or above soundcard latency.

If you are using a DAW that doesn't include Delay Compensation for plugins, i'm guessing you would want it set the exact same as your sound card. If your DAW has delay compensation I probably won't matter if you go a little above. :( :(
