UA-1G Audio Interface Having a Delay

So I'm using the UA-1G with Amplitube X-Gear, and it comes through but always at roughly a half-second delay, no matter what I set the sampling rate or the buffering to. Can anyone help me with this?

Computer specs?
What other applications (if any) are you running (internet, etc)?
WDM or ASIO or...?

Hi, It shows my computer is running MME, that is not good enough right? Do I need a sound card with Asio, or WDM?

The UA-1G IS your sound card... So yes, try using the ASIO 2.0 drivers

Switch from MME driver mode to ASIO. ASIO is always the lowest latency. You'll need to run ASIO especially if you're using something like Amplitube or you'll never get the latency low enough to echo without a delay.
