jamir, I want to know though, did it take you 5 years to figure out that your post didn't fit?

I thought...I don't remember saying these things? Oh well.
I think an old U87 would be cool to have, because of the sound.
I have a Rode K2, CAD E200, R84 AEA RIbbon, 2 Rode Nt5's, Studio Pro C1,
and 6 or 7 of the bread and butter Shure and EV mics.
All for the price of about two U87's, but I still want one one day....
What guy/gal wouldn't .
Coop said:I need one good mic for vocals and acoustic guitar recording. Should I spend the jing on a U87 or save some $'s on an alternative? If you'd save the $'s, what mic do you suggest?
LeeRosario said:so you're gonna spend the 3000 clams on a U87?
What exactly do you hope to achieve with a mic like a U87? (just out of curiosity)
Ford Van said:Errrrrrrrrrrrr...ol' Coop hasn't posted here SINCE the year 2000 Mr.Rosario.I am sure he has moved on from this topic.
Ford Van said:Well, if you would have read the whole thread, you would have know how old it was!![]()
