Unpossible!
In SX3 is there a way to change the order of insert effects on a chanel by just pulling them? I know you can change the effects in each slot, but I want to be able to just "pull" them into a different order.

Second. Is there a way to get the tracks window to scroll with the play locator - so the current wave section is in view as it is playing?

Thanks.

I knew it was something simple - I just had a terrible brain fart yesterday - had a "guest mixer" over, and he wasn't familiar with Cubase very much, and I was a bit nervous, so I couldn't remember anything - dammit! Oh well, we are going to attempt it again soon, and I think it is going to sound fricken fantastic!

Thanks again Carter!

For your number 1 question: Just save the plugin settings as an FXP and then you can bring them up whenever you want to change the order of the plugins. It is beyond me why they have not made this a feature (it is in wavelab) where you can just drag inserts to whatever slot u want

That is what I do now. I was REALLY hoping there was a way to just drag them up or down the "list".

Thanks! :D

BTW - Have you experienced some plugins that don't remember the preset right? I have saved presets, moved to a different song and opened up the preset, and have it NOT have all the settings saved. :(

That would be a cool feature! Often I find myself putting reverb on a snare via the insert (SIR as an insert to stop the delay thing) then adding compression later on in the mix to tighten things up and that totaly throws off the reverb. Someone should clue in Mr Steinberg for SX4

hey guys... i'm really sorry, but i'm new to homerecording.com and I didn't know how to start a new thread to ask this question. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to save your settings in Cubase SX such as number of inputs and showing the full width of the tracks so that everytime i open it up... it's already how i need it to record with my firepod. cause it's a pain in the butt to keep activating all of the inputs and everything every single time!!! haha, so if anyone knows the answer to this question I would be very appreciative!!!

Also, has anyone used the Project Studio C1's for drum overheads??? I am looking to buy 2 good mics for drum overheads, but i'm limited to about the $200 range on each mic!!! I've read reviews in EQ comparing it very closely to the AKG 414 TL-II, so I just would love to hear if any other people have any experience on the subject!!!??? thanks soooo much!!!
