Two audio interfaces!

Hey, I wonder, should I buy the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or the Alva Nanoface? Pros and cons? I only intend to record vocals and guitar, solo, not a band! I first got so many recommendations for the 2i2 but when I went to buy it, they didn't have it. Instead they advised me to get the Alva Nanoface? How do you guys think about these two interfaces?

Gets a good rep there^. I am personally averse to desktop dangly things that look like a 2 yr old's toy but there is no denying the Alva's far better connectivity.
If the 2i2 had MIDI and S/PDIF I would say no brainer but it don't. Must point out that at £159 here you are into NI KA6 territory!

whOOOAAA! Unless you are getting a great deal with a very respected vendor be wary of the Nanoface.

Thomann have dropped it, Sweetwater no longer seem to stock it and ZZs only have a couple of B stocks left.

Looks like a good idea gone T's U.
