Tweaking a Tascam 22-2

So I opened up my Tascam 22-2 to check and adjust calibration, but I realized there's no info on what the pots do in the manual!!

For example my Fostex 80 clearly states what each one does and when to adjust.

And I have no trouble keeping it calibrated.

Any help with the 22-2?
 
It is! You're right...I had to dig it out (the real manual) vs the stupid scanned and incomplete version on my computer.


Ive never calibrated this thing, in 3 years of owning it. It came set up and aligned...but I feel its time to check and adjust it.

I am going to purchase the correct tape from MRL instead of just using the one I have on hand which is for my Fostex 80, my understanding is the EQ is different on these.

Does anyone know which tape I need (mrl #)?

Any further advice on calibration other than what's in the manual...for a first timer with the 22-2?
 
groovy little machine....really sounds awesome when set up properly. I have no real help for you, but please get us updated with this machine's progress. Someone can help you.
