Turntable buzz problem

I have a Numark TT200 Direct Drive Turntable and a Behringer DX626 mixer. There is a small buzz when it's not grounded, and when I have it grounded the buzz gets a lot worse. Even when I have the turntable unplugged, with the mixer on, as soon as the metal on the ground wire touches the metal on the turntable there is a buzz. If anybody can help me I would really appreciate it. I've had this problem for awhile.

Try unplugging the four little wires in the headshell, wiping the contacts and then re-connecting them. I lost one channel in my turntable and eventually found that to be the problem.
