I Have sonor 3 producer ed every thing works for me fine but i never could figure out how to turn of the metronome during recording any help would be greatly appreciated

you can't trun of the built in (MIDI) metronome during recording...(but you can always trun down the volume on your midi device...

Sure you can. Options > Project > Metronome and uncheck all the boxes.
This will turn it off for THAT project. I don't think there is a way to "globally" turn it off, except to set up a template. Disable the metronome in the template and use the template to start all new projects.

Check it out again, my good man. There is a checkbox for playback and another for RECORDING. Uncheck both boxes and it won't playback at all - during recording or otherwise.

Dachay is right on. There's also a Metronome tool bar that has buttons. There's one for Metronome During Playback and another for Metronome During Record. Depending on how the Project settings are, either, neither, or both of these buttons will be on by default. Just click 'em to change their state.

Hi guys, has i occure to you all that I’m trying to describe “a nother” situation… All I’m saying is that you can’t trune the metronome on and of WHEN you are recording..(while the transport are running)…. No go back to work and make some music!!
