Tunesmith by Jimmy Webb

Just bought the book Tunesmith: Inside The Art of Songwriting.

I love his writing, in fact one of my favorite albums of all time is Watermark by Art Garfunkel....every gorgeous song written by Jimmy Webb.

Tunesmith is 432 pages on every facet of what we all do. I can't wait to get into this book!

I'll report back if there are any "AHA" moments....

I really dig the complete albums he write for Richard Harris - he wrote great songs that work within the limitations of the performer - genius.
I'd love to get my hands on a CD of the original hit versions of his songs.
