There’s no need for there to be a final winner or agreement…everyone just uses the gear they prefer.

I put the cheapo spade connectors on my sweet-ass old 1962ish Gibson Skylark, after snurfing off all the solder from the speaker terminals with a solder sucker. It took me about 3 years to finally decide to do it, and I don't notice any difference in sound. But now I gotta go to autozone...
