FOR SALE
I have a Tube Cube attenuator - Placed between your valve amp & speaker for valve heads up to 160 watts with selectable 2, 4, 8 & 16 ohms resistance. Also a full 340 degree sweep of the chicken head knob in volume attenuation.
In superb condition, no marks, scartches etc. Perhaps a little dust as once set up I just left it on top of the amp.
I'll add this important bit now:
The only caveat is that you ought not use it with a Marshall valve/tube amp. I'd been using this for a couple of years but my amp tech informed me that NO attenuator/brick/soak works well with a Marshall, (not even their own), and that, whilst they work for almost all other amps with Marshalls they will end up causing transformer damage. Even so, whilst I was using the Tube Cube it work brillaintly & sounded GREAT! I don't want to kill my Marshall so I now have no use for one.
No point sending it outside of Australia as postage will be too expensive but if you're in OZ have a look on ebay & Youtube for the newer 80watt/8ohm only model, (now in a solid looking grey metal case - mine is in a strong black metal mesh cube to more readily allow heat dissipation), and if interested let me know what you think is a fair price - postage will be additional at the cost of the appropriate packaging (post office box) & stamps.
