Was that a shot at me for the information I was only passing on from Peaveys documentation

I was just telling him to make sure he got a tech that could actually answer the question.
And if HIS amp says 8ohms on the extension then I wouldn't even bother with that.

I will keep all that info in mind, though one tiny bit thing..My external speaker jack states 16Ohm! What does that change?

They must have two versions of production. Probably better to ask Peavey directly,

There is some good advise here, but you should also call Peavey. They answer calls during business hours, and are excellent at customer support/service. (I used to think they were worlds better than Fender, but Fender is as good.)
