ok so i got an adc 96 point tt bantam patchbay off ebay. accidently i purchased it half-normalled, so i had to resolder the entire thing to make it normalled. fine, did all that.
now i'm putting all the wires in the back, but when i use my continuity tester, the two ground points dont have any signal going through it even though its normalled. its fine for the tip and the ring, but the ground isnt receiving signal when i touch each point in the row on the back!
now i've looked at many normalling schematics online like this one: http://bnoack.com/graphics/normalled.gif
and mine matches the schematic perfectly. when i look at the schematic it doesnt seem that the grounds/sleeves connect to each other at all without a patch cable.
do you understand what im saying? am i missing something? please help!!!
