hello everybody,

this is my first post on the forum, so i firstly want to give thanks to everyone because it has been a great source of information until this time.

I had my hand 1 year ago on a tascam m600, whitch was not working at the time because of a problem with the master trim knob on the master section.

meanwhile waiting for the part, i cleaned all inside with compressor / vacum cleaner, changed the condensor of the power supply unit, and to try to read all i could about this desk, and i can say i came accross some detail posts that enlighten me a bit, even i was far to understand everything, as i am a novice in electronics.

when i recieved the master track i plugged it ,and was surprised not to have any sound there, it took me a while to realise that there was some "bridge" green cards missing , the ones whitch connects the four tracks composing the master section.

i finally got my hands on those little cards, that i plugged with a big smile :) but still…no sound coming out, exept for the tone test function, whitch tell me that the master out is correctly working..
i also have some signal coming in the tracks, mic or line, but nothing coming out to the master section, speaker or headphones…

i don't what i am missing here, i guess it could be a lot of things, but i hope somebody reading my post would have a little light for me !

i am really dying to ear this desk running, yet it is good to get it back to function step by step…it has been sleeping only for a year or so before i got it, but was not so well kept…

hope to find some help !

thanks :)

francois.
