Im trying to use cubase sx's "true tape" feature to see how it sounds but am running into a problem.
When i activate true tape and press record, the tracks or track that i am recording don't record. Everything looks normal, i.e. you can see the audio file being created as you record, however, instead of seeing the sound waves you are recording, you see a solid black bar. When you play the recording back, there is no sound. It is if true tape recorded over whatever sounds were being recorded in real time.
I have the project set up for 32-bit float, as it says to do in the manual.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
