trouble setting up the audiophile 2496

I'm wondering if anyone else out there has found the documentation for the 2496 might as well be written in latin.
I have 0 experience with recording digital or otherwise and i'm having trouble understanding how to really use the soundcard.


Are there any websites or other sources that explain in PLAIN ENGLISH about 1.) the software interface 2.) how to set the soundcard up to work with XP pro, acid, and cool edit pro 2, troubleshooting, etc.?

I believe the manual is in English...correct ??
The manual is pretty straight forward. Tell us what your trying to do and perhaps we can set you straight.
Do you understand the M-Audio control panel ?
What is the software your using with it ?
And the 2496 works very well with XP Pro, I can vouche for that.
