Im in the Sequencer mode. I have a melody recorded to track 1. I would like to know a quick way to transpose the melody to another octave besides using Event Edit and going note by note. This is time consuming!!! Anyone?? Thank you!

You cant use the global setting, there is a transposing mode isnt there?

An extremely quick way to do this would be the following:

Whichever program you used in the melody in track 1, switch to program mode and go to that exact program. Then, under Performance Editor towards the bottom of the screen, just move the octave dial whichever way you want to go. If you switch back to SEQ mode, your track will play in accordance with the octave change you made.

Hope this helps.

But what about using the pitch shift or detune effect in the "insert effects" menu. Shouldn't it transpose also?

Hi

I'm assuming you have a Triton Studio? (probably the same on any Triton) The easiest and fastest way to transpose an individual track is to go to Menu/Track Parameters/Pitch Tab. There you can adjust the pitch up or down in semitones for each individual track. You can do this while you are still in Sequencer Mode! Hope this helps!

Ok I see this works but what about half Tranposing/Detuning? Is there a way I can transpose or detune an instrument, but still have some of the original sound come out. Kind of like 50% flat and 50% detuned? I know you can just have two separate tracks but is this possible with one?
