I'm on cubase AI 7. I just changed from pro tools where there is a possibility to trigger the recording by just begining to play on the keyboard.
Is it the sync function ? But I can't find any usefull informations about it.
Any advice ?

Not sure if yours is the same as my system, but you need to find the generic remote section - you can then set up most MIDI input devices to control the functions in the transport bar.
