A friend of mine joked that someone should do a cheesy dance song based on the "Torgo Theme: Opus I" from Manos-The Hands of Fate, infamously known as the worst movie ever featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

So I popped in my DVD copy of Manos and started ripping samples. About 5 hours later (spread over a few days) I created this TECHNO DANCE CLASSIC!

STUFF USED:

Written and sequenced on my Dell laptop. Waves rendered to 24/44.1 aiff format. Ported to ProTools HD 4 system for mixing and mastering. McDSP Analog Channel and G Channel were used on the mixbuss to create the feel of mixing down thru an Neve console to an Otari 24 channel 2" analog tape machine. Some additional high end was added during mastering to compensate for the darker tone of the Neve model.

Total time mixing and mastering about 2 hours.
