i have a yamaha 2816 and i would like to transfer all eight recorde tracks to sonar for effects. WHat is the best and cheapest way to do this, i have heard about adat cards but dont really know what they are.
i just bought a m-audio delta 1010 lt soundcard. it cost $279..but it worth it.. it has two xlr ins, 8 rca ins, 8 outs..midi in and outs..word clock in and out..s/pdif in and out... so it really 10ins/10outs. the card itself is 24-bit/96..for the price you can't beat it.. theres alot of cables...thats the only problem.. i hope that i helped you out.
the only thing cheaper is the delta 4/10.. it only has four ins..
but your needing eight ..i bought my card for my delta 1010lt from. www.smash.com..the only thing aobout the 1010lt is..you will have run the ends and outs like a snake.. thats how i have..i use two boards..one i i have all of my inputs ons. and other has all the outs and return on it.
