how many tracks can i record and playback? as in how many before quality suffers?(more than normal lol) ive gone as many as 11 with no problems that i could tell but im still new at this and really dont know what to look for as far as trouble, cool edit shows 128 availible, i know it depends on your system too so heres what mine is

amd xp 2500 processor overclocked @2.0 ghz
512 ddr 2700mhz
52x burner
64mb video card
another thing too i do plan on upgrading to a better sound card to suite recording, i get a lot of floor noise now, but i also have a high r.p.m fan/copper cooler for my processor, has anybody had any problems with fan noise causing floor noise? it seems like it would.
