Tracks outta sync..

OK.. I posted this before....say I record a drum machine on 1 and lock it in time , then a guitar on 2 and lock it in time and a bass on 3 and lock it and when I play them back they are all outta sync......huh ?????
Gotta good ( well, dell ) P4 3Gig, Soundblaster card.....I don't know.....I have no manual...is on downloadable somewhere ??????is P#t&r Qui&tg$rD screwed up somehow ??????won't mention where I obtained software.....

Did you look in the thread titled "problem with sync-ing tracks" and try the suggestion I made there?

Hey man I sympathise with you, I ve got the same problem myself. There is a bit you can do though under settings and (Buffer size) or something I cant remember what it is called but tweaking settings has solved this for me before. Its just that the program does not record 100% accurately when the settings are out. For me even clicking on 'correct drift' didn't work. So I will write back and let you know. In the multitrack options, there should be something to 'sync tracks' on playback/record or something like that. Is that checked?
 
bubinski. when you get fed up enough , and assuming you have a recent
pc with 512 ram...try what i use and tell me if you still get latency.
if you STILL get latency with this....we will haver to look seriously at your system because this has a number of features cool doesnt.
