I was mixing a quick little acoustic in reaper the other day and I must have clicked on something weird and my tracking view went to this where everything is minimized. How do I fix it? Capture.webp

Over in the right-hand vertical scroll bar - see the little '+'? Keep clicking it! Or you can just grab the horizontal bar at the bottom of each track and drag it down to expand that track view.

Are you referring to how each of the tracks are very short (i.e. on the left you can only see the record arm, mute, and solo buttons and the track name)? You can resize individual tracks by clicking and dragging the bottom on the left. You can resize ALL the tracks with the page up and page down buttons.

You are the perfect case for buying the Reaper Power book. Well Well Worth The Money!

did you hit the [~] button? that minimizes all of the tracks in trackview. hit it again and things should get back to where they were.

HA! Cool. You learn something new every day. Thanx man.

no prob.

i'm stoked that i was able to tell Rami something new on this forum!

the other trick I've been using a lot is ctrl-m (or apple-m on mac) toggles the mixer view on or off so you can work on just the trackview (waveforms) or a big mixer...very nice for those of us using laptops.
