track syncing (adl)

i use the mr8 and i would like to know if there is a way to find out the position of a wav file in the adl file. i would like to be able to use some of the virtual takes that are still on the card in my mix. the problem is i cannot sync them properly. i have viewed the adl file and it seems like one of the numbers next to each file name should be the time postition of the file.

i would appreciate any help. thanks

only way to do this is to transfer files to computer, NOT using the .wav manager from fostex, and import the file fragments into a recording program and mix from there, aligning the files up visually so they match up....

ceoblr - There was a document on the net that talked about the ADL format - it was pretty cryptic when it came to timing info, but maybe you can make some sense out of it. I can't find the document, but here's link to get started:
