Nice sounds there Trackrat. Some good playing also.

Way cool, papa TR ... :)

I like that kinda Abbey Road color in the tones.

Props to the new chapter.

Cool job TR.
421's on the toms?
Also, you have good converters huh?

I thank you gentlemen. I have to say, recording with my son makes me so proud my head could explode. He's turning into quite the all around musician.
The drums are a single km-184 as overhead, 441 on the snare, 57's on the rack and floor toms and a D-112 in the kick. Bass is through a 5 watt Hughes & Kettner tube amp into an old 15" I had laying around miked with a MK-012 with an omni cap. The acoustic is miked with a Shure 545, the electrics are through a Rivera Pubster miked witha 4033. Vocals are through a MK-319. I am VERY happy with the converters. Mostly the HD24 stock converters clocked with a GenX6 and also the MOTU converters.

Nice track! i agree with someone else who said the abbey road feel. ^^

Enjoyed it. Good work.

Nice work. I would love to jam with my son one day.

I haven't done this in a while so what the hell. My son recently moved back home from Colorado and last night we were jamming in the basement and did this.

awesome awesome awesome awesome love it

GREAT SONG thats what i like to hear some one play the good stuff

....who is playing what

for example what does your son play and what do you play in this song

Nice cover! Yeah, spill the details - who did what with what?

Wow - Sounds great. I'm interested in who played what as well.

Great job!

My son plays drums and keys on this one and I'm doing the rest. He can play any instrument he picks up. On Friday nights I always jam with some good friends and I've always been the "kid" in the gang at a mere 47. We were un-officially named The OGRs (pronounced Oger, standing for Old Grey Rockers). Since Junior has come back, he's been going with me to play and he's been adopted as an "old dude" too. The running joke has been "so, are you playing fluggle horn or what tonight?"

Great arrangment. For raw musicality I think I like the instrumental tracks better than the original.

Rock on! That was awesome! Very nice job replicating the original licks, with a few enhancements that actually improve on the original. Great feel, too.

very nice..........got that beatles vibe going on for sure.

That sounds excellent! Good to see you posting something again! Havent seen anything since the bluegrass groups.

I can't comment much because this is way out of my league! Excellent job!

I thank you gentlemen. It's GREAT to have the kid around again (read; a session musician you can actually punish :D :D :D ).

Aaaaggghhh!

"I, Me, Mine"!

Fine job,... & you really slaughtered me in the process!

... enough that it might send me back into the studio for a followup!

Really,... nice job, & nothing less than what I'd expect from'ya.

Dave;)
