track playback while recording

I have Cakewalk Pro 8.0 and need to know how to play back a track while recording. I have a WAV file on track 1 and wish to record on track 2. I am using SBLive! with LiveDriveII.

Any help would be great!

The manual is very good. There is a also a help system, and I belive there are tutorials on the CD as well... Come on, I mean this is such a basic thing, didn't you look there first?

I have tried the help-file, nothing. I don't have the user manual or tutorials because someone stole my cd... But I have the program installed on my PC.

The manual for 8 is rather obscure on this issue anywho.
Your sblive card probably supports full duplex operation, but it seems that it is not enabled in CW. Go to Tools - Audio Options and click advanced. (this is all it says in the manual) - look for a box that says simultaneuos record/playback - make sure it is checked.
