Unpossible!
Hello,

I am looking for a keyboard in the "less than $2000" range most likely. The main things I am looking for is the truest piano feel I can get in that range, a great piano sound, and a great hammond B3/Leslie sound. Anything after that is gravy. Don't need it to store songs, or sequence, or any of that. Would like it to be fairly portable as well. I was shown a yamaha ypg-625 that sounded pretty good, and seemed to have fairly accurate piano feel, but wasn't as portable as I'd like.

Any pointers on what I should be looking at would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

:D

Anything I ever played that had a great piano feel weighed a ton. I have a S90 yamaha that I love for pianos , but am not crazy about their organ patches.

I'm not worried about the weight. The keyboard I mentioned in the OP has a built in stand. Not as portable as a Fantom, Motif, etc....

How about a Hammond XK3 to cover the organ side, and korg PS-250 for the piano side. The Korg has a really nice sampled grand the keys feel alot like a
yamaha grand. The only thing I find annoying about it is the key noise if a quiet surrounding.

Looks like the Hammonds are being discontinued I would not be surprised if you
could find both for around $2000.

check out the mid level kurzweils.... i'm useing an older pc88mx and the sounds are first rate and as close to an acoustic feel as you can get...
