Hey there everyone. I do alittle live sound and recording. I've thought of mixing the two for my own band but never got around to it. My friend asked me to do sound for his band and record that show. My problem is that i don't have any portable recording device. I need to know a good hard disc recording device within $500. Im looking for something better then the fostex mr-8, and i need atleast 2 line in's. i was just going to grab the feed off the board. its a 8 peice band, 2 sax's, a trumpet, guitar, keys, drums, bass and one singer. Any experience with doing this also, id imagine it be alot harder then running everything on my computer.
