A GUY I'm recording loves his Fulltone Brooklyn OD, this thing is noisy as hell. I'm having a hard time getting him on "tape without hiss. any suggestions?
Record it. Then try using a quality noise reduction plug on it of the kind that'll take a noise print of the quiet part (where there's no guiar playing) and use that as it's guide to remove the noise.Big Kenny said:A GUY I'm recording loves his Fulltone Brooklyn OD, this thing is noisy as hell. SouthSIDE Glen said:Or, you could throw up a fake mic on the cabinet, secretly record him direct, and then re-amp it cleaner after he leaves.
