ADD -- blessing and curse
All:
Last night, for about 15 minutes, I was working on my not-yet-complete (so it isn't up yet) new music site. Looking it over last night brought up a very interesting question. Is there such a thing as "too many" hyperlinks to allow the user to buy my CD? I have a "store" page that lists several locations from where a user will be able to purchase my CD (once it's finished and out there, of course!). Throughout the website I reference this page, not just on the menu (where it is located throughout the site also).
I want to make sure my website is fine-tuned and ready to go about the same time (if not before) the CD is ready (so I can collect information, etc.).
Is this a good idea, or a bad one? Is it overwhelming or not? Would it make me look desperate for a sale, or make me look like an opportunist to a visitor?
I think there's a fine balance between too many and too few, I just have to discover that balance.
What's everyone think?
