Hey, Im actually a Drummer.. But I bought a Korg AX1500g just for fun.. Since I fiddle with the guitar a little..

the Outs of the korg, went in to my Soundcard's MIC IN's.. And I noticed it sounds VERY compressed.. No "OOMPH" at all.. anyone knows how to get that ?? :(

Think logical: why are you connecting your korg to the mic in?

Cause I want it Direct. My amp Sucks :( Some No Name 10 Watt Amp. @_@

Ok, let me make it really easy for:

In your head, draw yourself a picture of a microphone.

Now look at your korg. Does it look similar?
Yes: you got a freaky reference picture of a mic dude.
No: now you know that your korg is in fact, not a microphone. Go from there ;)

In other words, you need a preamp between the Korg and the soundcard.

:D I think what Halion is trying to say is do you have any 1/4" LINE IN's on your soundcard? :D That would be where you would connect the unit... Maybe we're all on the same page, maybe not.

All it should take is a little bit of tweaking on the Korg if you have it connected properly, but I don't really know much about that particular unit...

You should've gotten a Boss GT-6/8... ;)

Almost forgot... What soundcard are you connecting to?

He did not say what kind of sound card he has. My Terratec DMX 6Fire sound card has one MIC/LINE 1/4" input jack. You then have to go into the control panel and change the Record source to line, mic, phono, etc.

connect to the blue one not the pink one.

my old comp had the same one. thats the line in.
