toneport ux2 ???

I own a line 6 spider II and last attempt at recording it I wasnt happy .. I love the live sound I get from it ... Sounded kinda thin recorded ??? ended up
using a friends tube amp ....I thought getting an all in 1 modeler may simplify
things and give me a great sound ??? and give me a good interface for Bass and vocals too ... but I dont want to compromise quality .. Ive heard lots of great POD recordings and are wondering if this little unit will give it to me ???? anyone used it ??

its pretty much the Same as the Pod but just less amp models to choose from but you can upgrade the toneport and get the same models the pod has but that will cost you a couple hunderd..but yeah the toneport is pretty much the samething as the Pod..same company...just less amp models to choose from.

Not exactly the same though.

The Toneport UX2 allows for vocal and bass and keyboard amps/effects also in a way that just isn't possible with the POD. I have both and they are both great (for a person who appreciates that kind of thing).

So they are basically the same.....

But do they sound just as good?
The toneport is wayyyy cheaper than the Pod & Pod XT.
It kinda looks like a toy or video game add on.
