Tone of your voice......

I put a rough song in here awhile ago for reviewing. Wanted to see what the melody would bring. In response to the song was numerous coments of vocals. Which is fine and just. I really hadn't planned on doing the singing. On this one and others right now it's the only way they get working. With that said other than the clipping, which I can cure with a compressor would a better mic improve this voice or maybe it would amplify the problem. Opinions requested. Below is the song that was reviewed. Sung with a Sennheiser 735. Thanks.

What processing do you have already on the vox?

What are you recording to?

Do you have a hardware compressor?

I'm listening (unfortunately) on laptop speakers. I'll have to wait till later when I can listen on monitors to really comment well.
