His preformances are very passionate.
I was looking to make sure he wasn't going to pass a kidney stone when I saw him on David Letterman so I didn't realy get to hear his lyrics.
But great preformance and an almost demonic voice.

Tom Waits is one of the best singer songwriters ever. If you want to hear him sing a little more(instead of doing the Louis Armstrong thing) check out "Closing Time" ,...my favorite album of his. The eagles ripped off ole 55 from him...
