TOC from Tascam?

Anybody ever experience this? I have a Tascam CDRW5000 standalone CD recorder, as well as a Sony internal CD burner. The disks I record with my Tascam can't seem to be read by my Alpine car stereo deck, while the disks I do with my Sony can. My alpine deck is the only deck so far that won't read my Tascam disks....every other player I've put them on has played them. Anybody know?
 
I think your problem is due to lack of finalizing.Until the table of contents (TOC) is written on to the CD-R or CD-RW disc (which is known as finalizing),the audio cannot be read by an
ordinary cd player.

I do finalize all the disks I record on the Tascam. That's why they will play on most other players. I think the problem is somewhere else, but I can't figure it out. Maybe it's something peculiar to Tascam, I don't know. Thanks anyway.
