hey, for some reason your post is locked.

I used to run this exact setup and i know that it's a little frustrating..

I'm sure there's another way to do it but this is what I ended up doing

I got a little mixer ran from the computer to the ins.. then from the mixer to my amp (or your powered monitors depending on your setup) I then went from my presonus headphone out to channel one of the mixer and turned up the fader when I needed to monitor.. kinda a stupid set up i know but it worked just fine.. there HAS to be an easier way though.. (i just got frustrated and hooked it up this way cause i knew it would work and never took the time to figure anything else out hehe)

Okay. Yes, I "closed" the other thread because someone answered my question somewhere else.

What they told me was:

"Hi Austin08,
Are you plugging your speakers into the main CR outs on the Firepod or through your computers sound card? If you go in and out from the Firepod then you'll only need to set the hardware once. I'm using a pair of KRK 6's running out from the firepods main CR output. We've used both Cubase LE and Adobe Audition 2.0 and haven't had any problems with sound output once we had set the preferences in Audition to use the Presonus ASIO driver. If it's just a pair of computer speakers you'll need to get a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter as the plugs on the firepod are 1/4 plugs and most computer speakers are 1/8. But i'd encourage you to save your pennies and get a pair of proper studio monitors. The KRK's are amazing for the price ($250 Canadian each so they'd probably be like $1.50 US -- just kidding, a little Canuck humour there) and wow what a difference in the sound. I'm recording my high school stage band with 24 mics (one per instrument and several on the drums) and each instrument comes through crystal clear through the monitors. I couldn't say that for computer speakers, they just couldn't handle the output. Trust me, it's money well spent.
Cheers."

So, I suggest doing that ^

Problem for me right now is I don't have monitors. I just use a pair of cheap Sony 'studio' headphones to mix.

Your setup does sound very interesting, though!
