Ok, I'm trashing my Hoontech DSP24 Value into zilloins of pieces and now I'm finally going to buy Audiophile 2496. Few questions first: I'm using V-amp2 for recording guitar. Can I just connect it straight to card? Of course I will be using 1/4 ->RCA adapter. How about mic? I quess I need some amplifier for that? What are my possibilities for recording sound with microfone to AP? Please keep in mind that I don't have enough money to buy big mixers etc. Also can some Gigastudio users share their experiences about Audiophile?

Thanks!

The Audiophile has two RCA inputs. In regards to the mic, I would recommend picking up the M-Audio Audio Buddy (Pre Amp) It has two inputs for mics and that can connect directly to the Audiphile. I have this setup and it works great.

Thaks for you reply! That Audio Buddy sounds great! How does it connect to Ap? Via spdif or line in? Does it need two inputs for stereo recordings?
