This was brought to my attention in another one of the message boards I go to, not sure if it was ever mentioned here. But if you're a newbie and plan to build your own PC pick up the latest issue of Maximum PC. I picked up mine the other day and it's got a lot of helpful stuff in it. And besides you get some free demos of games

www.tomshardware.com is a great site with lots of tutorials on hardware and configurations.

Maximum PC is a GREAT magazine over all, unless you happen to like Macs in which case its a SORRY.

Just wanted to mention that another good tech site is www.arstechnica.com - the best in my opinion. Lots of DIY computer info and a very active forum for all topics tech.

cool thanks for the links (although am I the only here who is a newbie when it comes to building a PC???). I've got the link for tomshardware but didn't know they had harwdware, configurations, etc. All I've read on there was reviews LOL.
