Tiny Little Guitar...

I picked up this small guitar for my son and it was in pieces.Put it all togeather found an old humbucker for it and put on some strings.Sounds great but I have to tune it up really high.

What would be the proper standard tuning/tension for this little thing?

The neck itself is 13 1/2 inches.
From nut to bridge its about 19 1/4 inches.

I would high string it (ead strings a higher guage tuned an octive higher), Its going to be less stress on the neck and makes for an interesting sound when doubleing your own guitar parts.

Thanx darrin,have .009s on it and tuned up to B.
Way too high,too much tension,cant even bend.I am gonna try the lighter gauge/lower tuning and see if that works.



Still sounds GREAT through the j-station...just higher.
