timecode

I'm not sure what category to put this question in but..here goes

I want to timecode my pc which runs logic and cubase....to my 2 inch 24 track analogue tape machine...
I'm happy to slave the computer off the tape machine...which ever is easiest....

Any hints????

You need a device that will generate the analog timecode signal that gets recordede on tape, and read it back into MIDI data. The fancy high-end MIDI interfaces have this feature built-in; there are also stand-alone boxes.
